The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi) has partnered with the United Nations Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) programme to promote greener and more sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria.
This collaboration aims to support Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable strategies that will move the country towards a more environmentally friendly future, according to PCNGi’s Programme rector and CEO, M Michael Oluwagbemi.
The partnership was marked by a recent workshop focused on key topics like Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan, E-Bus Strategy, solar energy adoption, and carbon market activation. These initiatives showcase Nigeria’s progress on sustainable development in line with global goals.
Oluwagbemi noted that the workshop built on initial meetings between SEforALL CEO Damilola Ogunbiyi and PCNGi Chairman Mohammed Adedeji to identify opportunities to advance shared objectives.
“PCNGi envisions a future where sustainable energy practices drive economic growth, conservation, and energy access across Nigeria,” said Oluwagbemi. “We remain committed to ongoing collaboration to drive sustainable solutions that support Nigeria’s development goals.”
